Introducing our Fordwich rolled collar sweater - the sort of no-nonsense classic sweater every man should have in his winter wardrobe. This season Alan Paine have evolved this iconic sweater to create so much more than a cosy knit.

Our regular fit sweater is crafted from a Teflon Merino performance yarn for a contemporary water-resistant sweater with increased stain resistance. Worry not though, the beneficial warming, comfortable properties of pure Merino wool still remain.

• Fully Fashioned - Knitted to shape on the knitting machine. We leave it to others to cut corners.

T H E T E C H Y B I T S

A Teflon fabric protector is applied to the fine Italian spun Merino yarn coating each fibre with an invisible barrier. This treatment is used to create a water-resistant garment. It also increases stain resistance including the absorption of liquid substances, whether water or oil based. As a result, the original appearance, handle and colour of Teflon treated knitwear is longer-lasting.

Beautiful sweater

The sweater fills a gap in my wardrobe for a nice looking sweater, without being too dressed up, or to dressed down. I look good in it without coming across like a fashionista.

A Paine does it again

Every year is seems AP designers come up with a sweater I just have to have. They did it again this year with the Fordwich roll neck. I don’t know who or what is a Fordwich but whoever it is has to be proud of this sweater

Fits perfectly and looks great

For me a full roll neck doesnt work, either my neck is too short or my double chin is growing. The mock roll neck is just what I need, I will be swanning around in my reefer jacket and new jumper affecting a rolling gait like a man of the sea. I have a few jumpers from you, a favorite being an orange coloured v neck in super geelong. And unlike fine knitwear from some other manufacturers there is no pilling - even after many years wear.
